The past few days have been filled with a lot of emotion and waiting. We are at the Ministers & Wives Retreat in Gig Harbor, WA., to spend a few days relaxing with friends. The main purpose however, was for Angie and me to meet the "Home Missions" board. We have been approved to start a church in Oak Harbor effective June 1st. So what now? Well, we start the process of buying an RV Trailer and getting jobs there in Oak Harbor. As soon as practical, we will move to Oak Harbor and establish the work. We have a lot of work to do before June.
Please pray for us and for Whidbey Island, WA.

i am so excited for you guys! to think, i'm going to be a pk at the age of 24. :)
Greetings, Bro. & Sis. Dillon!!
Boy, were we out of the loop. We didn't even know you were applying for a home missions work. We are sooo happy for you!
God is really blessing here in NC. Just in our little work, we have had six baptized in Jesus' Name this year, several filled with the Holy Ghost - that may sound small to many, but it is a start for us. Our attendance has roughly doubled this year. We are so glad to finally be on location - it has made all the difference since we were able to move to Roanoke Rapids in March of 2006.
PLEASE keep us posted how things develop for you - we are most interested!
