Angie and I are a part of a wonderful group of people that meet each week at someones home. We alternate from week to week on which home we will go to and we all bring food and drinks to add to the fellowship. At our "Home Fellowship Group", we eat, study the Bible, share our hopes, ambitions, and shortcomings. Angie and the ladies like to Knit and Crochet. One of the couples in our Home Fellowship Group is James and Cassie Gemes (and Meghan!). Last year James and Cassie began saving all of their loose change in a jar after being inspired by a book written by Jason F. Wright, titled "Christmas Jars". ou I'll just tell you that she finds the givers and discovers the tradition of donating throughout the year as a way to remember the sacrifices that Jesus made for us.Last night, when I arrived at the meeting, Cassie presented us with a bag full of coins collected by their family last year and a copy of the book "Christmas Jars". She said "This is for the Oak Harbor Church". Thank You so much Cassie and James! Angie and I look forward to carrying on the tradition.
